Exaudi nos is a mixed group, vocal and instrumental, dedicated to the research and the cultivation of the sacred music's cultural heritage.
Its programs are based on the music of Christian roots, and reach the whole cultural space of the West. In accordance with that, their members can approach current and old repertoires with instruments and styles appropriate to each time. |
| Created in Vienna in the decade of the eighties by Joan Grimalt, Exaudi nos began a second period in Catalonia from the year 2000 on. |
| In the year 2001, in cooperation with the team of Músiques de l'Esperit (MdE, "Music of the Spirit"), Exaudi nos carried out its first production, The Song of the Songs, by Palestrina, and a selection of these motets, orchestrated for the occasion, was performed in Barcelona, Terrassa i Rome. |

The different programs that the group has been producing year after year, have all in common this concept of orchestrating for a mixed vocal-instrumental Ensemble. At present, the repertoire of Exaudi nos is centered on the music of the seventeenth century, especially spanish. This doesn't exclude programs for larger staffs, or some purely instrumental program or, music of other times and places: |
